Drummonds Phlox, 3/8/11 this annual is interesting as the largest seed
sources are from European cultivars sent by Drummond to England from Texas
in 1835.

The most aggressive species in the irrigated area is the Non Native "Rescue Grass" it was first imported from Argentina in the 1800's and widely planted  after the severe drought in Texas in the 1950's now it is everywhere.
