David Boston and a representative from Home Depot unload this huge 45 gallon live oak tree in front of Joe Pearce's house. Home Depot graciously donated the tree for our Reach, and we planted it for Joe, a neighbor who has lived by the Reach and planted many trees there over the years

The Reach Makes Baby Turtles

Just found this baby turtle on the Reach last night. Cutest thing ever. I rescued him to the yard because the mowers were coming today. But he'll make a return. It's so great to know that turtles are there, mating, laying eggs, reproducing and then growing up and old. Ecology!
